Underwood - Part 1

The Underwood No. 5 was manufactured from 1900 to the early 1930s. Over 3 million were sold. I grew up playing with and typing on my grandfather's No. 5, so when I found one in good shape in a local antique shop I had to bring it home. The Underwood No. 5 is an amazing piece of macinery, so I wanted to capture its details.

I grew up playing with and typing on my grandfather's No. 5, so when I found one in good shape in a local antique shop I had to bring it home. The Underwood No. 5 is an amazing piece of macinery, so I wanted to capture its details. The No. 5 has an interesting open design with no panels or covers to remove. What I like about this particular machine is that you can tell it was well-used.
